Its one of those days when u feel very lonely. Everyone is busy with their own lives and there is no one to hear u...talk to u...lend their shoulder. I am reminded of this lovely lil fella who happens to be my colleague at work and a gud friend of mine. 'Colleague' is probably too derogatory a term to describe our boss-teammate relation. He is a very good friend of mine and I think I am a bit protective about him....maybe thats y i call him a kido. I always associate him with Calvin ..a real life make of the Great cartoon character. I have had great conversations with him and I remember everything like it happened yday. He always lends me his ear and never shies away from sharing his opinion. He is just one of those lovely souls who lend u their time and can do anything for u...am short of to describe him more.
I was all set to return back home from Scotland and though I had a week to go, my heart was already in India, after all it vud nearly be an year long wait. The cold, dull December nites of Scotland were just getting too boring for my taste. I was itching to come back home...bangalore..meet my friends and explore the mountains. This young fella comes home to wish me luck and spend some time with me. I remember it being a Friday and Friday is always associated with drinks at my place. So, my friend is drunk by midnight and we continue talking and gazing at the stars. He was very happy for me and wishing me luck but I knew that he was pretty upset that I was going. His eyes told me whatever I wanted to know. Here I was, dreaming about a future with the invisible love I seek and completely oblivious to the love I am receiving.
Sometime 'Silence' tells it all. Words become too cliched and u understand the complexities of the human mind without a single spoken word. My friend taught me to love unabashed and express it without any fear. My dear friend, I thank u for being there and accepting me in spite of my shortcomings.
