I normally don't pay much attention to poetry, but for some reason I found these lines by Frost have made me contemplate.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before i sleep,
And miles to go before i sleep.
These lines resonate in me, reminding me of so many things about my own self and the people around me. I was talking to my brother the other day
about general things...recession et al and he suddenly said, I dont know but what would happen if economy doesnt improve by the end
of 2009. I did my best to assuage his concerns and asked him not to worry about things not under his control, rather focus
of things he can do to improve as a person. But sometimes I go overboard and worry too.
Today, I read these words by the little master of cricket,
"In tough times ordinary men do what they can, but a master does what he must." - Sunil Manohar Gavaskar
This made my self belief stronger and though I am just an ordinary person I will not bend down and wait for things to happen.
I hope this year is good for everyone..my family...friends and everyone else. May the crisis brings the best out of us to make
this place a better world.
